MSW-810 Analog Monosynth

The MSW-810 is a faithful recreation of the CMU-810 Monosynth which was designed as a synth expander for the 1983 CMU-800 computer music production system. At its core however, is the tone generator of the MC-202.  The device can be built with original CEM3340 and IR3109 VCO/VCF chips or current Alfa reproductions.

The MSW-810 can pair this synth voice with the legendary TB-303 sequencer Pixie emulation that runs the original TB-303 mask ROM code and also adds MIDI control (note and sync).  The sequencer comes with all the surface mount components pre installed and requires very basic assembly.  Please note: While the sequencer is provisioned for accent, the 810 does NOT have accent circuitry,  a mod board is planned to add this functionality.

A non-sequencer analog only is available as well but please note this device is 100% accurate to the CMU so CV/Gate control ONLY, no MIDI.

Sequencer Kit

This is the sequencer for the MSW-810.  This is a machine assembled PCB that includes all parts fitted all EXCEPT the tempo pot, pixie, and headers.

This kit includes:

• 1x Assembled PCB
• 1x C1M potentiometer

• 1x Pixie Processor
• 4 x assembled ribbon cables
• 1x I/O PCB Kit (assembly required)

This device is provided programmed and ready to use but requires calibration.  An accurate volt meter with frequency detection is needed.
