This is a I2C cable suitable for use with the 16n/XVI/F8R etc. It has a 3.5mm TRS connector on one end and standard square post connectors on the wires on the other. Can be used for I2C or MIDI connections
Standard I2C pinout is Tip=SDA, Ring=SCL, Sleeve= GND
The wires are color coded:
White = Tip/SDA
Red = Ring/SCL
Yellow = Sleeve/GND
WARNING
Directly exposed I2C connections while devices are powered can result in damage to those devices! ALWAYS make I2C connections with power OFF and DO NOT LEAVE THE 3.5mm END EXPOSED WHEN NOT CONNECTED
